Hazard Communication - COMM001

This 4-hour program fulfills the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200. Right-to-Know regulations require an employer to inform all employees about the hazards of any chemical on the premises, and with which the employee must work or come into contact with.

The course outlines toxicology, hazard recognition, MSDS use, information sources, identifying signs, labels, NFPA 704 system, labeling requirements, and other pertinent facts and issues relating to safety around chemicals in the workplace.

Confined Space Entry Certification - CSET001

This 8-hour program complies with OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.146, and is required for all employees who will enter a confined space, as defined by OSHA.

The course contains confined spaces and permit required confined spaces. It covers subject matter including air monitoring, buddy systems, attendant/entrant & supervisor/stand-by designates. Rescue, medical monitoring, permits, heat stress, lock-out/tag-out, hazard recognition, hot work, and other related subjects.

RCRA Hazardous Waste Training - RCRA001

This 4-hour program fulfills the requirements of 40 CFR 260-264 and is designed for employees responsible for identifying, managing, packaging, and/or shipping RCRA hazardous waste. The course covers identification of hazardous waste, waste accumulation, labeling, manifesting, and exemptions.

HM-181/215E Transportation Certification - TRAN001

This 4-hour program fulfills the requirements of 49 CFR 170-174 and covers DOT requirements for shippers and drivers. Includes training in loading and unloading of hazardous materials, proper preparation & packaging for shipment, manifest completion, hazardous materials identification, hazard class overview, labeling & placarding.

The HM-181 course is also available in an 8-hour version, which covers additional information on proper naming of chemicals for shipment, complete understanding of the HazMat Table, Performance Oriented Packaging (POPS), and segregation of materials for and during shipment. Lead Awareness and Protection - LEAD001

This 4-hour program complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200, 29 CFR 1910.120, Title 8, CCR Section 1532.1, and is required for all workers who may be exposed to lead during the course of work, or during lead abatement activity.

The course includes a definition of lead, health effects of exposure to lead, where lead is encountered, regulations dealing with lead, measuring lead in the air, on surfaces, and in the body, proper selection of respiratory protection, medical exams, soil sampling, swipe sampling, remediation protection requirements, worker and community rights, and other work practice subjects.

Forklift Operator Functional Training - FORK001

FORK002 (Spanish)
This 4-hour program partially complies with OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.178 and is required by every employee who will be asked to operate a forklift device in the workplace.

The course covers the basic classroom instruction that will thoroughly train the employee in the identification, workings, safety aspects, operation, refueling, inspection, and lift capacity. Sudents will have the necessary information to be able to recognize, mount, and operate a forklift.

"An actual demonstration of competency in operating is further required at the employers' place of business, on the specific piece of equipment the employee will be asked to operate" to complete the compliance requirement of 29 CFR 1910.178 Request training ID FORK005.

A condensed 2-hour program providing basic introduction to the operator is also available. Request training ID FORK003.

Lockout/Tagout-Control of Hazardous Energy - LOCK001

This 2-hour program fulfills the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.147, and complies with requirements for employers in training employees in lockout/tagout procedures, practices, and safety aspects. Regulations require all employees engaged in maintenance, repair, or service of energized equipment to complete formal training.

OSHA-General Industry Regulatory Overview - OSHA010

This 10-hour program is a comprehensive series of modules dealing with a wide variety of regulatory and compliance issues. Included subjects are; walking and working surfaces, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, means of egress, fire protection & prevention, emergency action, personal protective equipment, hazard communications, and OSHA citations.

This course is also available as a 30-hour course, covering general industry. The additional modules include material handling and storage, sling safety, machine safeguarding, hand and portable power tool safety, welding and cutting hazards, paint spray operations, scaffolds, fire extinguishers, dipping and coating operations, hazardous chemicals, personal protective equipment, and hearing conservation. Personal Protective Equipment Awareness Training - PPET001

This 2-hour program fulfills the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.132 and teaches the employee about the various devices available to prevent exposure and protect the user who may be conducting activities in a hazardous environment. The student will learn limitations of PPE as well as understand the dangers of exposure and best methods of self-protection.

Respiratory Protection - RESP001

This 4-hour program complies with respiratory protection training requirements, 29 CFR 1910.134. It is mandated for all employees working in a hazardous atmosphere, or opportunity for exposure to toxic chemicals is likely. The course deals with the proper selection, care and use of respiratory devices and prepares the student for use of SCBA, SAR, and APR devices.

Blood-Borne Pathogens Awareness Training - BBPT001

This 2-hour course makes the student aware of the dangers of bloodborne pathogens, the means to protect oneself, and the handling criteria for biological wastes or potentially infectious materials.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid - CPRT001

This course covers the basics of adult first aid plus cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The course includes hands-on training in accordance with Nationally certified CPR programs.
